The Case Research Team in SCELSE is seeking a research fellow with established field techniques, ability to use molecular protocols for DNA and RNA isolation from marine bacteria and seagrasses for molecular community analysis, genome sequencing and metagenomics. The candidate should be a talented marine microbiologist with experience working with marine microbes and field experience. Responsibilities: Perform manipulative experiments with corals and bacteria to determine their thermal and disease tolerance To sample, manipulate and experiment with corals using physiological and molecular analysis Work with a group of marine scientists to identify beneficial microbes for coral resilience.…
