Base Pay: $17.75 Hourly . SUMMARY: Supervises and performs manual and machine-assisted labor to maintain and repair buildings and/or grounds surrounding county buildings. The employee is required to be on duty before, during, and after natural disasters and emergencies, as directed by the supervisor. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following: Gives daily work assignments to crewmembers. Performs and supervises the movement of furniture and other county property. Performs simple repairs and light maintenance on equipment and vehicles used in work. Loads and unloads materials and equipment. Drives truck and hauls materials to and from work site. Trims, edges and weeds county property. May apply fertilizers and insecticides and water county grounds.…
