General Purpose Accountants perform month-end close procedures , ensuring accura te and complete financial statements , prepare and maintain balance sheet reconciliations, support various audit requirements, and communicate variances and trends with operations and leadership to drive satisfactory accounting results . Essential Duties Work directly with accounts payable, accounts receivable, operations, payroll, and other supporting departments. Maintain general ledger accounting records. Prepare and substantiate journal entries.
