About this role
The Aircraft Cabinetmaker is responsible for support of highly sensitive HQ USAF operational plans and safe air transportation for Cabinet Members, senior military leaders, and visiting foreign dignitaries. Essential Responsibilities: Performs maintenance, modifications, and repair of furnishings, cabinets, tables, bulkheads, wood trim and other interior components. Uses maintenance instructions and technical data for inspection, maintenance, and repair on Special Mission aircraft. Evaluates quality cosmetic appearance and serviceability of all installed wood components and plastic laminate panels for scheduled repair. Works with wood, metal and composite materials. Uses and maintains power tools along with other shop equipment.…
