About this role
Amentum is hiring a qualified Aircraft Mechanic I in support of Kadena Air Base, 18th EMS, Okinawa, JAPAN. Aircraft Mechanic- I must have a combination of experience to perform corrosion related repairs to assigned aircraft, sheet metal, structural, hydraulic, and general mechanical maintenance of moderate difficulty, required to meet the assigned missions. Make repairs to aircraft and follow direction of higher graded workers. The Aircraft Mechanic I follows specific weapon system technical manuals for aircraft structure, landing gear, flight surfaces and controls, anti- icing, pneudraulic, engines, auxiliary power unit, and ventilation and heating system corrosion control inspections.…
