POSITION TITLE: Aircraft Mechanic II (Fuel System) WORKCENTER: BACK SHOP (Fuel Shop) The Fuel Cell Aircraft Mechanic II is responsible for support of highly sensitive HQ USAF operational plans and safe air transportation for Cabinet Members, senior military leaders, and visiting foreign dignitaries. Essential Responsibilities: Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul and modify fuel systems. Drain fuel from tanks and cells. Perform purge operations on cells and tanks. Removes, reassembles, and installs components. Cleans and inspect fuel cells. Monitors the need for sealants and necessary seals for mission support. Inspect and repair aircraft fuel systems. Monitor bench stock, shop stock and Composite Tool Kits (CTK's). Perform on and off equipment maintenance, as required.…
