About this role
Amentum is seeking a Facilities Painter to join our Facilities Maintenance team in Des Moines, IA. Typical hours: Monday-Friday; overtime and hours may vary based on customer demand. This position will primarily perform industrial coating and finishing on racks, fixtures, cabinets, tooling, and related production assets. When production paint volume is low, the painter will transition to facility painting activities such as walls, columns, ceilings, and other designated surface. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to : Prep, clean, mask, and finish racks, fixtures, cabinets, tooling, and similar items. Interior prepping and painting of office spaces, hallways, restrooms, closets, meeting rooms, floors, tour paths, equipment rooms, etc.…
