About this role
Amentum is seeking a Cement Mason for North of Las Vegas, NV. Purpose and Scope: Reporting to a Cement Mason Journeyman, the incumbent works with concrete by placing, finishing, protecting and repairing concrete in engineering, construction and renovation projects. Position is represented by a Union Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Minimum Position Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required: Journeyman Must be able to place, level, and finish concrete by using power screed machine or by Rodding with straight edge. Must be proficient in the use of hand tools such as bull floats, hand floats, hand trowels, etc. Must be able to run gas-powered trowel machine, grinder, bushing machine, etc. Must be familiar with placing/finishing on-grade concrete via slip-form paver.…
