About this role
Amentum has a Painter opening at our Springfield, VA client facility. The Painter will smooth and finish surfaces and paint floors, walls, and miscellaneous surfaces using a variety of tools and materials. Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess an active Top Secret security clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI. Responsibilities Apply paint, stain, varnish, enamel, and other finishes to equipment, buildings and other structures, using brushes, spray guns, or rollers. Apply primers or sealers to prepare new surfaces, such as bare wood or metal, for finish coats. Cover surfaces with canvas drop cloth or masking tape and paper to protect surfaces during painting. Fill cracks, holes, and joints with caulk, putty, plaster; or other fillers, using caulking guns or putty knives.…
