About this role

Job Summary Collects specimens from patients and assumes responsibility for the safety and comfort of patients, following established standards and practices. Accessions samples into computer system for accurate testing and billing. Performs Point of Care testing as needed. Prepares daily work schedule for specimen collection, and evaluates and distributes workload to phlebotomists. Coordinates daily operations for phlebotomy functions. Accountabilities Uses correct technique, policy, and protocol in collection and process of all specimens. Verifies ID of patient, specimen and results. Properly aliquots specimens. Properly labels specimens with appropriate information.…
