Staff Accountant - Wholesale Inventory

Job Description: The Staff Accountant for Wholesale Inventory is responsible for providing accounting for Metroplex Energy. This includes analyzing, researching, and preparing financial information and reports to meet specific daily, weekly and monthly deadlines. What You'll Do: Records journal transactions associated with wholesale fuel gross margin in accordance with GAAP, i.e. inventory valuation, cost of sales, transportation, storage, & other associated fees. Performs account reconciliations. Ensures Metroplex Energy, Inc. has an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close. Provides detailed monthly reporting to assist in business management and decision making. Analyzes and investigate variances during monthly flux both month over month and year over year.…
