POSITION SUMMARY: The Stainless Steel Tanker Maintenance Technician performs repairs, inspections, and welding on a specialized equipment. The incumbent works on basic electrical components and welding/fabrication to maximize safe and productive operations. The Stainless Steel Tanker Maintenance Technician maintains air, electrical, and hydraulic systems. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Performs complex inspections, conducts diagnostic tests, and performs preventative maintenance. Performs complex work on specialized equipment, such as MC -306/406 tank trailers, Aluminum Trainers, and DOT407 and 412 Trailers. Diagnoses and repairs electrical and hydraulic problems on equipment. Performs or assists lower-level employees with installations as scheduled and meets relevant deadlines.…
