ESSENTIAL TASKS The tasks listed below are those that represent the majority of the time spent working in this class. Management may assign additional tasks related to the type of work of the class as necessary. Obtains rights-of-way for the construction of new County roads and other capital improvements. Researches property ownership of parcels of land associated with roads, bridges, and drainage construction projects. Researches legal records to establish boundaries of properties. Prepares temporary and permanent easement documents for signatures and recording. Locates and contacts property owners for execution of documents; negotiates terms for signatures. Maintains and manages right-of-way records and database. Retrieves and reports right-of-way information as requested.…
