POSITION SUMMARY: At Republic Services, Technicians play a critical role in maintaining the performance and quality of our fleet. A Technician performs routine and preventive maintenance on diesel and non-diesel equipment and trucks. The Technician Apprenticeship program will train an entry level technician over a two-year period in the following: Electrical diagnosis of starting & charging systems. Air conditioning & heating component identification & inspection. Wheel end assembly component identification & inspection. Air system component identification & inspection.
