About this role
POSITION SUMMARY: Ensures that pumps, conveyors, blowers, chlorinators, vacuum equipment and other wastewater treatment are operational at all times. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Maintains and operates hazardous waste disposal injection well and assigned equipment. Reports equipment malfunctions promptly. Records daily system readings and inspections of pump leachate. Performs weed trimming and grass cutting around facility and associated systems. Collects and processes storm water samples as needed. Enters data into excel spreadsheets and maintains system records. Keeps records of equipment maintenance and repairs Receipt, handling, recovery, disposal and recycling of hazardous waste. Keeps logs and records of waste received and shipped off-site. Performs other related duties as assigned.…
