POSITION SUMMARY: Chemists work in the field on customer locations conducting both chemical management/packaging/disposal services for hazardous and non-hazardous materials. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Conducting routine inspection/audit services to assess customers’ compliance with hazmat storage, waste management, and occupational safety regulations. Handling, classifying, segregating, labeling, and packaging hazardous and non-hazardous materials according to Federal and State regulations. Training laboratory/production staff to understand proper chemical handling/storage techniques and relevant environmental laws. Responding to emergency chemical spills and performing cleanup duties.…
