Job Description Summary The library Graduate Assistant (GA) reports to the University Librarian. This part time position in the library primarily covers weekends and in evening hours by provide assistance in circulation; checking books in and out, spot checking and monitoring of undergraduate student workers’ work quality when shelving, making security rounds, reporting library physical plant issues to the circulation supervisor, such as an out of service printer, a plugged up toilet, a burned out light bulb, etc. and completing other duties as assigned. The GA is also responsible for providing some basic direct one-on-one peer support for locating and using library materials, databases, and other resources when library faculty are unavailable.…
