About this role

Job Description Saint Luke's Specialty Clinic in Blue Springs is seeking a Lab Support Associate to join our team! Processes and distributes lab specimens to in-house or reference destinations. Aids in preparing specimens for analysis. May assist with routine technical procedures. Full-time day shift, 6:30 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday Performs clerical duties including Epic order transcription and registration, order and processing of laboratory specimens, document filing. Ensure accurate identification information on each patient specimen, as compared to information on accompanying requisition. Verifies the integrity of specimens received with respect to published specimen requirements. Processes each specimen per established protocol for test or tube type.…
