Pipefitter Journey Location: Mentone, TX Type: Full Time General Information/Job Summary Under direction, the pipefitter performs work involved in the installation, maintenance, and repair of process facilities and systems, high pressure steam pipes and fittings, pumps, boilers and furnaces, steam heating auxiliary equipment and steam operated equipment; works with various machine and hand tools common to the trade; may prepare or work from sketches, plans, and specifications in accord with accepted trade practices; may be called on to do routine welding; takes the lead over and gives suitable assignments to those assigned as helpers; does related work as required.…
