About this role

Scripps News is seeking a Segment Producer who will develop, pitch and produce creative content. Display an in-depth understanding of producing high-end content for live news. WHAT YOU'LL DO: Pitch, develop and write content relating to the latest national and international news Responsible for delivering quick-turn, high-priority packages while executing consistently high-quality production value Write scripts and work with senior producers to improve and refine the elements of segments to conform to specific quality standards and time requirements. May work closely with talent, editors and/or producers for live reporter packages by organizing elements including graphics, video, sound, and any necessary components to accomplish this task.
