About this role
The number one goal of the Buyer III is to protect the bottom line of the company by obtaining the best value for the right goods and/or services as they are requested and needed by the operating departments. Buyer III is responsible for the Procurement of goods and/or services in specified categories or for specific departments. Including the planning, organizing and management of projects. Buyer III handles the most complex and high dollar projects and is also capable of forming and managing commodity teams for those items based on additional training and years of experience. Buyer III is responsible for assisting with supervising and training both Buyers I and II. Works more independently and provides more of a leadership role in the department.…
