About this role
The Compliance Engineer (CE) will guide the Defense Engineering team to comply with product development standards as defined by the US Military. Successful candidates will have experience with MIL-DTL-917 / MIL-E-917E. The CE will be the focal point, confirming that our new military products are ready to transition through the preliminary (PDR) and critical design reviews (CDR). They will work across internal business functions (e.g., Sourcing, Manufacturing, Quality, etc.) to ensure that new products adhere to military standards as defined by ITAR. In many cases, the CE will interface directly with their counterparts in the US Navy and the Navy’s subcontractors to communicate product compliance, manufacturability, traceability, and performance.…
