The Transplant Coordinator plays a critical role in facilitating the complex logistics of organ transplantation while prioritizing patient safety and well-being while ensuring a smooth and efficient journey for both the donor and recipient. The Transplant Coordinator coordinates the clinical management of the transplant/VAD patient including the transplant/VAD evaluation, the transplant/VAD process and follow-up care.
