About this role

Job Description: Central State Hospital is seeking a full-time Recovery Services Specialist to join the Recovery Services team! This position will primarily work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM but will rotate some evening and weekend hours. Job Details: Plans, schedules and conducts psychoeducational classes on recovery as assigned (e. g., medication side effects, ADL, communication skills, stress management strategies). Provides therapeutic support within the units and Recovery Center. T eaches and models healthy behaviors, consistent with the treatment/care goals of recovery. Contributes to safe and therapeutic environment by practicing verbal de-escalation and, as authorized, other behavior management techniques.…
