Power Plant Mechanic

Position Title: Power Plant Mechanic Time Type: Full time Position Summary and Qualifications: Under the general supervision to perform such duties as assigned in operation and maintenance of power plant and related power plant equipment. Essential Duties: Perform all duties peculiar to, and normally required in, the trade of power plant mechanic, following recognized procedures and techniques for such work. Operates, fires, and maintains boilers to meet the need for steam. Plans firing for energy-efficient operations. The ability to read blueprints and sketches. Maintains automatic temperature controls.
