Job Description: About the Writing Program: The Writing Program at Seattle Pacific University supports writing instruction from a student's first year until graduation. In addition to coordinating the two-course sequence all incoming first-year students take at SPU (the first housed in the English department and the second taught by faculty across campus), the Writing Program offers a seminar on the teaching of writing, hosts writing/pedagogy workshops, facilitates faculty writing groups, and oversees the year-end Rauer and Hedges Writing Awards and their companion "How I Learned to Write" lecture series.
