Job Description The Department of Mechanical Engineering in the Charles V. Schaefer, Jr. School of Engineering and Science at Stevens Institute of Technology is seeking a highly motivated Part-Time Research Assistant to support ongoing computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and aerospace engineering research projects. Essential Responsibilities Perform and analyze Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) and Direct Simulation Monte Carlo (DSMC) simulations related to parachute permeability modeling. Conduct CFD simulations using commercial software to evaluate high-Reynolds-number incompressible flows involving complex geometries. Process, organize, and analyze simulation and experimental data to support ongoing research objectives.…
