About this role

Takealot Fufilment Solutions (TFS), is a new servicing offering which has been spun off from Takealot.com - South Africa’s leading online retailer. We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Engineer to become part of our newly established Fulfilment Engineering team. We are an energetic team that is fully responsible for all the systems required to support the Takealot Fulfilment Solutions capabilities as well as the unique challenges that come with orchestrating order fulfilment across distribution centers and logistics operations. We have adopted a microservices architecture to both isolate our logic and to enable scale. We follow REST architecture primarily but do use event-driven architecture where applicable.
