RESPONSIBILITIES : The Maintenance Mechanic is responsible for the troubleshooting and repair of the mechanical equipment throughout the site to insure minimal disruption to the production process. Mechanics report to a Maintenance Supervisor. This group is providing services to the production and research areas 7 days a week. Employees perform a wide variety of maintenance activities on 8 or 10-hour shifts, with occasional overtime work extended to 12-hour shifts. A Mechanic may be required to work in one or more plant areas, doing one or multiple assignments during any given work-shift. In order to support the production activities.
