Job Description: 1. GENERAL POSITION INFORMATION Position Name: Laboratory Assistant for Gross Anatomy Dissection Classification: Part-Time, Non-Benefitted FTE: Less than half time Work Hours: Up to 18 hours per week; varies each term depending on instructional needs. This position will be on campus in the anatomy lab. Department/Division: Basic Science/College of Chiropractic Supervisor: Associate Dean, College of Chiropractic 2. POSITION SUMMARY Teaching assistants (TAs), including laboratory assistants, in the basic science anatomy lab assist faculty and provide cadaveric dissection support. TAs engage in the detailed preparation of human cadavers and maintenance of prosected cadavers for use in gross anatomy instruction.…
