Lab Technician I - Biomedical Engineering

Summary Under direct supervision, provide basic support to laboratory functions including maintenance, operation and inventory of equipment and supplies. Support research investigators as needed. Primary Responsibilities Provide clean and sterilized glassware for use in research lab. Operate and maintain a variety of basic lab equipment such as autoclaving. Make and supply media buffers and water to research areas as needed. Assist in organizing and setup lab supplies and equipment for individual research investigators. Assist with inventory and record of supplies. Participate in meetings with principle investigator and research staff and evaluate/interpret the validity of data as needed. Other duties as assigned.…
