The Library Digital Accessibility Lead leads one of two sub-teams within the UVA Library Digital Accessibility Student Team: Captioning & Transcription or PDF & Document Remediation. The Lead directly supervises two undergraduate Library Digital Accessibility Assistants, providing day-to-day task direction, quality review, and professional mentorship. In addition to team leadership responsibilities, the Lead performs advanced production work in their track and contributes to workflow design, quality documentation, and program assessment. The position reports to the Library's Digital Accessibility Specialist.
