Job Details: Essential Duties and Responsibilities: • Fabricate and erect assigned components using various metals, including stainless steel, galvanized steel, and black iron (e.g., angle iron, channel iron, round stock, and flat stock). • Perform all three major welding methods: TIG, MIG, and ARC welding. • Safely operate hand and power tools, as well as shop equipment, including metal shear, brake, drill press, lathe, plasma cutter, oxy-acetylene torch, and sanders. • Weld in multiple positions, including flat, vertical, horizontal, and overhead. • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, sketches, and work orders to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations. • Execute precision work within close tolerances using measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.…
