Job Summary Is responsible for supervising a team of inventory control coordinators to ensure in-stock plant inventory of materials and products within the business unit, in accordance with inventory cycles, while minimizing overstocking of slower moving items. Works under general supervision and direction; relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals; a certain degree of latitude is required. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Maintains and manages inventory levels so turns and inventory dollars to sales dollars percentage remain within stated guidelines. Communicates needs with manufacturer and adjusts purchase orders to shift needs to priority locations. Provides knowledge on inventory levels, cost, lead times etc. to assist sales meeting customer needs.…
