Job Summary The Dispatcher is responsible for assisting in the scheduling and coordination of trucks and drivers according to customer requests and in compliance with DOT regulations and company rules. Notifies drivers of assignments reviews and verifies accuracy of driver’s logs and data base. Principal Duties and Responsibilities Coordinates and schedule all outbound loads and coordinate with sales and production. Coordinates proper loading and shipping order with SR personnel. Set up loads to be shipped common carrier with outside freight companies. Determines mode of transportation and selects appropriate carrier.
