About this role
The full-time Histology Technician II will support technical laboratory personnel in day-to-day operations of the Dermatopathology, Histology and Immunohistology Laboratories in the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine. The incumbent will: Prepare simple and complex reagents or media under direct supervision. Receive, accession and triage patient specimens, blocks and slides. Clear understanding of the standards required to work in a Histology laboratory under CAP and KSOM guidelines. Perform high complexity testing and advanced histopathology procedures and staining techniques by accurately identifying the proper control tissues and antibodies to be used.…
