ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS AND CORE RESPONSIBILITIES Accountable to the unit Manager and/or the Director of the department. Proficient in the essential job functions and responsibilities of a surgical technician. Provides input with staffing assignments to ensure that patient needs, and staff competencies are equitable. Provides a dynamic specialty service by working with physicians on new procedures that could be introduced to the operating room. Responsible for the completeness and availability of supplies, special instrumentation sets, and equipment needed to accomplish the surgical schedule.…
