Job Description Our Emergency Department at UW Medical Center-Montlake has an opportunity for an Advanced Practice Provider to see patients in the Fast-Track stream of care as well as exposing them to high acuity challenging patients. The ED Advanced Practice Provider is a member of the inter-professional team that includes attending physicians, residents, pharmacists, medical and pharmacy students and registered nurses. DESCRIPTION Evaluate and treat acute and minor illnesses and injuries presenting to the ED. Serve as backup for Campus Health for employees with blood-borne exposures or job-related injury. Function independently in our vertical care area. Minor procedures including but not limited to laceration repair, incision and drainage of abscesses, splint applications, etc.…
