Job Description The UW Medical Center-Montlake – Adult Genetics Department has an outstanding opportunity for a Genetics Counselor 2 . WORK SCHEDULE Full-Time / 40 Hours Per Week Day Shift POSITION HIGHLIGHTS The individual in this position will compile, evaluate, and document the family history and genetic test results, and provide pre and post-test genetic counseling services to patients and/or families. Under general supervision, assesses and counsels clients with complex genetics problems. Participate in the development of educational programs; Instruct medical staff, students and others regarding program services. Provides general consultation to other health care staff including community physicians and other primary care providers.…
