Job Description UWMC Northwest is currently recruiting for a RESPIRATORY CARE SPECIALIST to join our Respiratory Care Team! WORK SCHEDULE 40 hours per week Inquire About Shift PRIMARY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Provide education and training to Respiratory Care Practitioners, nurses, physicians, residents, and other staff regarding new equipment, clinical guidelines, standards, and evidence-based practices. Coordinate and provide orientation, competency validation, and preceptorship for newly hired permanent and temporary staff. Facilitate advanced learning opportunities, including conferences, seminars, continuing education, and time away from clinical duties for professional development. Demonstrate advanced knowledge and clinical expertise in all theories and practices of respiratory care.…
