WE ARE SEEKING A DETAIL-ORIENTED AND EXPERIENCED AUSTRALIAN BOOKKEEPER / ACCOUNTANT TO SUPPORT AUSTRALIAN CLIENTS WITH DAY-TO-DAY BOOKKEEPING, PAYROLL, COMPLIANCE, AND FINANCIAL REPORTING. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE HAS EXPERIENCE WORKING WITH AUSTRALIAN ACCOUNTING STANDARDS, GST, BAS, PAYROLL, AND CLOUD-BASED ACCOUNTING SOFTWARE. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Manage Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable - Perform bank, credit card, and GL reconciliations - Process payroll, STP, and superannuation - Prepare BAS, IAS, GST, and PAYG reports - Maintain accurate financial records and month-end close - Prepare financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) - Liaise with clients and external accountants - Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and ATO requirements…
