About this role

About Us: The Perioperative Department at Valley Children’s Hospital is a robust division, incorporating many procedural areas and their associated support services. Periop supports every service line within the hospital, providing care to patients in the Central Valley and its surrounding areas and collaborates with outlying facilities to accomplish our mission to provide the best care to our patients, always. The Day Surgery process begins with pre-op admitting of the patient, which is inclusive of assessing the patient pre-surgery and preparing them for their surgical day. The most common surgeries are ENT followed by orthopedics and general surgeries and the patients range in age from newborn to young adult.…
