About this role
Position Summary As part of a Team Based Care Model, this APP will provide hospital coverage to support the surgical team to provide prompt consultation and crisis management for the general surgery population. In collaboration with the collaborating or supervising physician the APP will: Assists in prompt consultations from the emergency department and hospital units First assist in the operating room, as well as min invasive robotic surgery and general cases. Perform history and physical examinations and clinical evaluations including provision of preoperative and postoperative care. Perform hospital rounding, follow-up care, and discharges on surgical population Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic imaging studies.…
