Position Summary Reporting to and functioning under the general supervision of the Supervisor, the CT Technologist prepares for and operates a CT Scanner following specific physician orders. Produces detailed computer-generated scans of patients for diagnostic and interventional information. Assists patients onto scanner, verifies patient identification prior to scan, selects patient from worklist, ensures exam is archived on the PACS and completed properly in the RIS. Maintains facilities in proper order. Must keep abreast of all new CT procedures.
