Lifeguard, HWC Lifestyles / Medical Fitness, Part Time, Day

POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Manager of Aquatic & Recreation activities, the lifeguard is responsible to provide a safe, sanitary environment that encourages members to use the Lifestyles facility for fitness, relaxation and recreation and to improve individual swimming and water safety skills. EDUCATION: High School graduate or the equivalent. EXPERIENCE: Previous lifeguarding experience preferred. SPECIAL SKILLS: Current Red Cross Lifeguard Training certification required. Maintains current Basic Life Support (BLS). Current Red Cross Standard First Aid or equivalent required. Current Red Cross Water Safety Instructor (WSI) preferred - Effective group process skills.
