Job Purpose: Our Shipping & Receiving Supervisor will oversee the department functions and associates while maintaining production standards for receiving or shipping departments. This position will manage all daily issues and projects under the direction of the Operations Manager and will work with all Distribution Center Departments, Transportation, and Inventory Management to ensure the timely and safe movement of product. Job Responsibilities: ● Coordinate shipping schedules for production and properly plan for mixed product loads. Work with them to resolve questions regarding shipping schedules or product unavailable for shipment as scheduled. ● Administer reconsignment of freight, refusals, problems with delivery, returned merchandise, etc. as necessary.…
