About this role

Waste Connections, Inc. is Hiring a Diesel Mechanic! We have an immediate opening for a high-energy Diesel Mechanic to join the team at our Miami facility. Previous waste experience is a huge plus! This position is night shift from 2 PM – 12 AM, Monday to Friday , with every other Saturday . Pay: $26.00 to 30.00/hr DOE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Perform repairs and assigned preventative maintenance services. Conduct inspections, diagnosis, and repair of electrical, hydraulics, suspension, brake, and air systems on vehicles and equipment. Utilize vehicle computer electronic systems to interpret failure modes to initiate or assign repairs. Complete required paperwork using fleet maintenance software programs to document repairs, parts usage, and repair times.…
