Northwest Container Services (NWCS) , a Waste Connections company, is looking to hire a highly motivated & safety driven, Mechanic to work on a variety of lifts, chassis, small engines, gen sets, and construction equipment at our site in Portland, Oregon. Pay range is $28-$35/HR DOE Schedule is Monday-Friday Shift is 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM with some overtime as needed. Safety Sensitive: Yes Responsibilities: Shows up to work on time every day ready to work . Performs repairs and assigned preventive maintenance services. Diagnosis and repair of electrical, hydraulic, engine, transmission, suspension, differential, planetary, wet and air brakes on vehicles and equipment. Have basic computer / electronic skills. Utilize vehicle computer electronic systems and laptop programs for repairs.…
