PRIMARY FUNCTION: The Maintenance Mechanic performs preventative, maintenance, and repairs of large manufacturing equipment (hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor, etc.). RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS: Perform preventive maintenance inspections and service on machines, including cleaning, oiling, lubricating, changing belts machinery as necessary to ensure machines are in optimal working condition Identify root cause of unexpected breakdowns of machines; repair quickly and efficiently to decrease downtime for machine Record and report damaged, worn, or broken parts, ordering and installing replacement parts for machines as needed Prepare reports documenting work performed.…
