About this role
As a condition of employment all employees must pass a post offer criminal history background check, physical examination and drug screen. All employees must also submit proof of identity and employment eligibility. Many people in emergency management come from various walks of life but the common element is passion / compassion. Work done within the cycle of emergency management, Mitigation, Preparation, Response and Recovery, is undertaken with passion and compassion. This work is NOT a traditional 9 to 5 job. We work at all hours and occasionally must address things we have never done before. These situations require critical thinking skills and the ability to make decisions based on limited information.
